The process chain of when an article of clothing is designed, to the time it finally reaches production can be long and involved. Sometimes changes to fabric choices and slight pattern adjustments need to be made along the way. However, often those samples have already been photographed for catalogs and websites. Those images then need to be retouched to ensure that the items consumers see on the website match what they will be receiving when they make a purchase. In this case J. Press/York St. needed several shots of their vintage football pants retouched to reflect the simpler more refined final product.
